Senior Product Designer

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer who will be contribute to the foundation and scale of our design system at PrizePicks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building, implementing, and governing design systems. You will collaborate closely with designers and the front-end engineering team to build out a unified design system that is organized, consistent, accessible, and usable. 

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with Design and Engineering to drive cross functional alignment for our PrizePicks design system
• Design scalable, flexible, and reusable UI components across web, mobile, and native applications. 
• Act as a thought leader in the domain of systems, while being a fierce advocate for the passionate sports fans who could use our products
• Help ensure that our design system is accessible and inclusive
• Solve complex design problems for many different user personas 
• Create detailed documentation to outline guidelines and standards 
• Work closely with the Engineering team to ensure consistent naming conventions and component adoption
• Look for new ways to improve and surface up insights to the product team 

What you have:

• 3+ years of successfully designing and building scalable design systems with a strong portfolio of work 
• Exceptional collaboration skills that drive towards successful outcomes
• A strong storyteller and facilitator who can clearly and concisely explain complex concepts and build consensus with cross-disciplinary groups
• Systems-level design thinker with a thoughtful intuition that incorporates broader situational variables, user needs, and patterns in human behavior.
• Experienced collaborator who brings out the best in others and offers a flexible, friendly approach to working with product teams.
• Humble, ego-free, emotionally intelligent contributor who learns from, and builds upon, the ideas of others.

What makes you stand out:

• Casino, sports and/or gaming industry experience
• Ability to write code and/or a strong understanding of CSS classes and Java Script.

Where you’ll live:

• This is a remote position with occasional travel to Atlanta, GA
