Senior Product Designer

We’re seeking a passionate and curious Senior Designer to join our Product Design team to help us define the future of living. Our ideal designer creates intuitive solutions to complex problems and designs experiences that engage, excite, and empower our multiple customers.

How you’ll contribute to #OneTeam

• Advocate for the 3 unique customers that are at the center of our mission, and of the communities we work with: residents, operators, and property owners
• Collaborate with product management, product operations, and engineering throughout the product lifecycle from discovery through delivery
• Own the designs you create from end-to-end -- leveraging the best design methods to articulate your solutions along the way
• Solicit data and test across multiple possible solutions to drive the best outcomes for our customers and our business
• Ensure the product as developed meets design intent and quality standards; work directly with engineers on the front-end execution, including design QA
• Identify design process gaps or inefficiencies and contribute to improvements
• Help cultivate a strong design culture within a growing team

Who you are 

• Have a portfolio of work demonstrating experience in user-centered product design solutions, ideally in both b2b SaaS and b2c scenarios
• Have 4+ years of real-world experience, including projects where you are the sole designer, designing both native mobile and web applications from concept to completion
• Experienced working in UI, UX, and User Research (e.g. conducting user interviews and usability testing)
• Pay attention to the smallest details and are innovative in your problem solving
• Clear, concise communicator verbally and in writing
• A curious self-starter who likes to figure things out on your own and also knows when to ask for help
• Proficient using design tools like Figma or similar (e.g. Sketch, Adobe XD, etc) to create workflows, components, and prototypes
• Experienced working with and building design systems and intimate knowledge of the modern web, iOS, and Android features and functionality
