Senior Product Designer

Apify is a web scraping and browser automation platform. Thousands of developers worldwide build and run web scrapers using our cloud. Many of them later publish and sell their web scrapers on the Apify Store. We’re searching for a Senior Product Designer to join our console team (PM, You, Devs). You will be responsible for shaping the user experience of Apify's core component, Console. In addition, you will maintain and develop our design system, ensuring a consistent and functional user interface across the Apify touchpoints (Console, Store, Web, etc.). 

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the entire design process from end-to-end for Apify Console
• Maintain and improve our robust design system to ensure consistency across all Apify touchpoints (Apify Console, store, web, etc.)
  • Review front-end code to ensure design consistency and adherence to the design system.
  • Provide guidance and support to developers in implementing design specifications accurately.
  • Manage the DS roadmap & collaborate on it with developers
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define design goals, and deliver solutions that meet business and user needs.
• Participate in regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Experiment with new design tools, techniques, and processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the design team
• Effectively communicate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience designing web applications for B2B consumers
• Extensive experience in all phases of the design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing
• Ability to develop and maintain a design system
• Bringing novel, simple, and intuitive design to Apify Console in which user experiences and interfaces are complex and inscrutable to the everyday person
• Ability to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback
• Ability to effectively communicate and persuade other Apifiers about design concepts
• Knowledge of associated practices, including UX writing, User Research, and accessibility standards
• Customer-centric approach to design
• Proven experience working with Figma
• Fluent or conversational English
