Senior Product Designer

We are hiring a Sr. Product Designer that will work on our consumer product experience. This position will report to the VP of Product.
The ideal candidate has at least 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer in a product-focused organization; strong preference for insurance, fintech, or ecommerce industry experience; working across website and app experiences; and is a strong communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally to create cohesive product experiences.
What You'll Do:
Reporting directly to the VP of Product, you will be responsible for helping craft the design and user experience of the Mulberry consumer product experience.

• As a core member of the design team, you will be responsible for various product features as they relate to design and work closely with members of the product and engineering teams
• Work closely with designers on the team, product managers and engineers to define, craft, and support product features
• Be a fearless advocate for the consumer experience
• Be an owner, and take responsibility for product features that you are building
• Own the cohesive and holistic consumer experience of the entire product, not only limited to your feature set
• Develop prototypes to conduct user research and testing
• Take initiative in thinking of new features and products to deliver business and product outcomes
• Have a solid understanding of how to design to deliver consumer and business outcomes
• Bonus points if you understand how your work will translate into code and how your design decisions affect engineering
• Bonus points if you are fluent in product analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Storybook, Mixpanel, etc. and strongly familiar with product analytics and data tools

What We're Seeking:

• You have 3+ years experience as a product designer or user experience designer in a product-focused environment
• Proficient in Figma (or similar tool such as Sketch
• A problem solver who loves a challenge
• Don't hold your biases too closely and understand when to compromise
• Have a sound understanding of the business (and product) strategy and the business model and obsessed with the consumer experience
