What are you going to do?

Our client is building the software that builds the world. They provide cloud-based construction management software that helps clients more efficiently build skyscrapers hospitals retail centers airports housing complexes and more. They have worked hard to create and maintain a culture where you can own your work and are encouraged and given resources to try new ideas.

Our client is looking for a Senior Product Designer. This is a unique and highly analytical and creative role requiring strong UX design experience in leading and delivering all design aspects of a usable software product including field experiences where users work from mobile devices and apps. You are expected to present your work in critique and to cross-functional stakeholders and make revisions based on feedback.

• Design and validate new experiences via mockups wireframes flow diagrams sketches and other UX artifacts for our cloud-based applications.

• Develop high-level detailed storyboards sitemaps mock-ups user maps and prototypes to effectively communicate and articulate complex ideas and reach a shared understanding.

• Leverage the patterns content and solutions created by our Design System Content Strategy UX Research and DesignOps teams.

• Work as an embedded member of a cross-functional agile product development team collaborating with Product Managers Engineers and other Product Designers.

• Design solutions to allow users to leverage QR codes on a construction job site to more swiftly perform relevant tasks and access information about a given area.

• Articulate design decisions to a variety of audiences including tech leads clients and project owners.

• Create solutions to allow users to capture video on the jobsite through our app.

• Collaborate with the Product Owner or stakeholders to create high-level and detailed design requirements and make sure the implementation aligns with the vision.

What will help you succeed

• 5+ years of experience designing world-class apps with a strong portfolio of design work.

• Provide an online portfolio of work to review with best-in-class work and inspiring projects that tackle interaction design problems including native mobile applications.

• Strong proficiency with leading design tools - Specifically Figma.

• Strong client-facing communication skills having the ability to articulate design decisions to a variety of audiences including tech leads company leaders project owners.

• Experience dealing with large data sets and many digital objects (supporting different business processes) that often relate to one another and have a lot of metadata associated with them.
