Senior Product Designer, Design Systems

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer specializing in Design Systems. In this pivotal role, you'll lay the groundwork for all C3 AI products by crafting robust UI components to be scalable across applications and platforms. You'll lead in shaping C3 AI's design components and patterns, serving designers and engineers. Your portfolio should showcase compelling storytelling abilities and a deep understanding of design best practices and principles.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of new design patterns, ensuring uniformity across all products.
• Collaborate closely with design and product leadership to refine concepts, evolve our design language, and bring innovative ideas to life.
• Manage Figma component documentation and enhance UI kits for internal and external users.
• Partner with the engineering team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Promote design system insights and spearhead critical advocacy initiatives to foster the adoption and comprehension of design systems across the organization.
• Take the initiative to continuously improve the design system and explore new possibilities.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• At least 4 to 5 years of experience designing consumer or SaaS applications, with a minimum of two years focused on design systems.
• Proficiency in Figma, especially in creating UI kits.
• A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to pixel perfection and holistic user experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A portfolio showcasing your ability to solve user problems, craftsmanship, and quantified impact.
• Experience with markdown render, front-end engineering, and type systems.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
