• Deliver high-quality work throughout the end-to-end product design workflow , from synthesising user research, to designing wireframes to prototypes to high-fidelity visual design and motion
• Help build Gnosis Pay’s design system
• Plan, conduct, and synthesise user research to strengthen clarity and understanding, and enable meaningful solutions
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure the smooth handoff, implementation and maintenance of designs and components
• Define user interactions and experience through user flows, information architecture, mockups, and other relevant diagrams and maps
• Build functional prototypes to validate and test your designs, and to engage team conversations
• Effectively communicate your design decisions and the underlying rationale and process
• Help shape our design culture. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to the foundation of the product design practice at Gnosis Pay, helping define our ways of working and what excellence looks like

• Experienced: you have a proven track record of designing thoughtful, delightful and usable responsive and/or mobile-first experiences users love (and have a dope portfolio to show it)

• A craftsperson with meticulous attention to detail: you’re someone who is energised by hands-on work—sketching concepts, defining flows, building prototypes, and polishing UI. You are equally comfortable working through complex flows, creating visually stunning interfaces, storytelling through motion, and all the spectrum of design disciplines required to support the work. You're not one to overlook the details; in fact, you thrive in them

• Data-informed and strategic thinker: your recommendations and design work are deeply rooted in evidence. Beyond design, you possess a holistic and strategic mindset, always focusing on the broader product vision

• Humble, but opinionated: we like smart people who have lots of ideas, yet are open to feedback and happy to discard their opinions whenever a better way of doing things presents itself

• Confidently independent: you are a self-starter who can work through ambiguity and autonomously complete a task from start to finish with minimal oversight

• Hungry for impact and meaningful work: Work at Gnosis is complex and challenging, but also deeply rewarding. This is a role where you can help influence design over the long term, not just fulfil a temporary brief which needs to be delivered quickly

Requirements:

• Strong design skills paired with impeccable taste

• Excellent understanding of accessibility principles

• Track record of designing functional but also beautiful experiences that users adore

• Experience building and contributing to design systems

• Demonstrable understanding of systems thinking

• Clarity when sharing ideas and making design decisions

• Expert proficiency in Figma

• Ability to effectively convey design ideas via high-fidelity mockups and prototypes

• Experience building consumer mobile apps

• Humility and low ego

Desirable:

• Familiarity with blockchain-based applications and the nuances of foundational crypto concepts including wallets, tokens, smart contracts and trustless transactions.

• Familiarity with the payments industry or financial technology

• Code literacy in React, Javascript and HTML/CSS, and experience with Github and Storybook is a huge plus

• Experience with motion design tools such as Rive, LottieLabs or After Effects

• Experience with 3D software like Spline or Blender

• Experience with branding and identity systems

• Experience working for an early stage company (seed or series A) where you’ve contributed to the growth and helped take them from 0→1
