Field Nation is setting a new Product vision and reimagining the user experience across our multi-sided platform. As a Senior Product Designer on our Marketplace team, you will join a collaborative, innovative group of product experts to design holistic solutions that deliver significant improvements for our Client experience. You’ll drive product discovery, solution exploration, and user research, solving real problems for 70,000+ users on our nationwide platform. - Leverage design best practices and product intuition to create modern and efficient solutions, using intuitive design and innovative approaches. Demonstrate a strong understanding of usability principles, interaction design patterns, and visual design standards.
- Drive the design process from ideation to launch, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders. Utilize a design thinking methodology and user-centered approach to explore and validate solutions, create clear, compelling solutions, and ensure high-quality execution and alignment with technical feasibility.
You may be a good fit if you have:
- 5-8+ years of experience as a Product Designer for complex products, with a fast-paced culture where you’ve formed, owned, and delivered a product vision. Marketplace, eCommerce, or HR Tech experience is a major plus.
- A portfolio of work showcasing your ability to translate complex product problems into intuitive and efficient whole-product solutions using design thinking methodologies, including examples shipping, learning, and iterating with real users.
- Experience conducting and applying various user research methods, with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable design decisions.
- Mastery of UX/UI best practices, including usability, information architecture, interaction design and UX writing. Skilled at balancing established patterns with innovative design solutions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (product, engineering) and stakeholders.
- Passion for design excellence and a constant drive to learn and stay updated on emerging trends and best practices, including an expert understanding of Figma, Miro, and other design tools.
Why we think you’ll love it here:
- Unlimited paid time off
- Annual vacation bonus - yes, we’ll pay you a bonus to take paid time off!
- Individualized growth and development plans
- Strong values around work/life balance
- Community involvement opportunities
- Competitive benefits: medical, dental, vision, paid parental leave & 401k
- Exposure to cutting edge technologies to solve meaningful problems
Come as you are:
