Senior Product Designer - Partnerships

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join the brand new MyFitnessPal Partnerships team helping build tools that create win-win-win situations for our users our company and partner companies.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Senior Product Designer you will guide end-to-end experiences providing structure and stability for your team. Leveraging your expertise in user experience and visual design you'll ensure seamless system-aligned interfaces. Your contributions will shape product strategy driven by a deep understanding of user goals business needs and a passion for solving complex challenges. You will:

• Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our partnerships team working across mobile and web platforms

• Transform abstract ideas into practical and functional designs

• Address complex challenges with innovative and creative solutions

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to explore opportunities prototype concepts and iterate on designs

• Deliver impactful and engaging end-to-end design solutions

• Present design solutions and rationale to the team and key stakeholders

• Bridge the gap between research insights and actionable design concepts

• Leverage a people-focused design thinking mentality

• Focus on creating operational excellence within the Product Design team emphasizing learning feedback and high-velocity iteration

• Partner closely with a cross-functional team of Product Managers Engineers Analysts Researchers and Marketers

• Craft effective and engaging user experiences by understanding both customers and our business

Qualifications to be Successful in This Role:

• 5+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design solutions.

• Expertise in creating user-centered designs that balance business goals user needs and technical feasibility

• Advanced proficiency with design tools like Figma Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite

• Strong understanding of interaction design visual design and design systems

• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and commitment to inclusive design practices

• Experience conducting user research and applying findings to inform design decisions

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to articulate design rationale to diverse stakeholders

• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product managers engineers and other team members in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to addressing design challenges

• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

• Passion for staying updated on industry trends tools and best practices

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at MyFitnessPal ranges from $120000 - $150000. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate’s skills qualifications and experience.
