About The Role & Team
We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Product Engineer to join the Query Semantics team within Amplitude. You will be part of a passionate group of engineers helping modern businesses transform their products through data and experimentation. Â
As a Senior Frontend Product Engineer, you will be responsible for building best-in-class end-to-end experiences that empower product teams to do their best work. Our Query Semantics team is new and made up of a team of folks passionate about becoming the critical team interfacing with every engineering team in the company; setting standards and best practices as well as leading the way in re-architecting our core Analytics product to be more modular, agile and extensible. If you’re someone who thinks in design patterns and loves driving critical impact for an engineering organization, then we’d love to speak with you!Â
 As a Senior Frontend Product Engineer, you will have:Â
5-7 years of experience developing interactive, customer-facing applications and websites
Comprehensive frontend experience with React, Typescript, and SCSS
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to changing requirements
Constant desire to learn and grow in the field of web developmentÂ
You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:
Backend experience writing web services with Node.js
Experience with GraphQL
Experience with front-end testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, etc.
