Senior Product Engineer, Shared Services

The Product Engineering Platform team offers a consolidation of shared services that supports multiple functional teams of the Amplitude product suite.  The mission of this team is to provide Amplitude customers a unified and consistent customer experience among all Amplitude offerings.

 As a Staff/Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will: 

• Participate in architecture, design and development of services that the whole product engineering team will use
• Solve complex web software development problems and build the necessary support on the backend
• Build robust mission critical applications which enables multiple teams to reach their goals quicker and easier
• Suggest and implement improvements to the development processes  

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

• You have 5+ years of experience working in a full stack engineering role.
• Experience with one of the following programming languages: Javascript, NodeJS, Python
• Experienced in building RESTful APIs and API Communication
• Good grasp of asynchronous programming
• Able to troubleshoot system-level integration and performance issues
• Fast learner and eager to absorb new emerging technologies
• Enjoys working with different teams with strong collaboration and communication skills
