Senior Product Manager

Our Product and Technology team is an experienced team of software professionals with a wide range of specialties and interests. We make use of big data and natural language processing technologies as well as dealing with day-to-day application development and scaling issues. We utilize agile methodologies, iterate quickly to find solutions, and work together to ensure that the system evolves in a maintainable and performant fashion.

This is a full-time opportunity located in the Washington DC metro area.

The Senior Product Manager will interface with internal project teams and external parties to manage a portfolio of technology products, identify research and new technologies and technological concepts, and working with a team to bring the products to the market

We are looking for a resourceful, driven individual with significant software development management experience as well as customer-facing requirements gathering abilities. Communication skills are very important, as well as the ability to adapt to fluctuating requirements and priorities. You must have well-developed project management and problem-solving skills while enjoying the challenge of acting as the intermediary between clients or client-facing teams and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with multiple stakeholders to define, maintain and execute the product roadmap and features.
• Triage reported software problems and enhancement requests from internal and external stakeholders. 
• Participate in and drive discussion on a range of technology issues including User Interface and Experience, technology architecture and design.
• Work with internal and external development teams to bring products and features to the market.
• Communicate project status to executives and stakeholders.
• Perform acceptance testing prior to releasing features.
• Work closely with IT and support to investigate and resolve issues with products.
• Manage ongoing relationships with internal clients to drive adoption and value of products and services.
• Achieve strategic product goals and measure Key Performance Indicators.
• Support potential sales opportunities through proof of concept projects.
• Coordination of potential technical partnership opportunities.

Professional Experience Required

• A Bachelor’s degree is desired.
• 2+ years working as part of a product team.
• Proven project management and superior communication skills.
• Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Proficient written and verbal English language skills.
• Experience with Jira, Zendesk a plus.
