About the Role:

Traceable AI is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and execute the strategy for API Runtime Protection. This individual will be responsible for understanding the API security landscape, market trends, and gathering customer requirements at both a market and technical level that would drive the product roadmap. This role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams such as engineering, Customer success, product marketing and sales to deliver API Protection solutions to solve customer problems with speed and agility. This individual will also engage with strategic customers to understand their API security challenges and the market and technology landscape in order to build and execute a product strategy that gives them complete protection for their API’s.

Your Daily Impact

• Deep understanding of Web and API security, threat prevention and technologies related to the Web and API security market
• Customer experience expertise – constantly engaged with a variety of customer personas like Infosec, Product Security etc and understand deployment trends and operational patterns, understand pain points in existing solutions, and see product features through customer eyes
• Act as a key interface between our field and engineering - help the field and customers understand our value, competitive differentiation, and best practices for implementing our product
• A passion for building differentiated products with great user experiences
• Identify patterns in customer and market needs, synthesize and genericize feedback and requests, track them systematically, and deliver clear, thoughtful, and well defined product strategy
• Communication of product value to both the customers and the business in a compelling manner using slides and documents
• Being a great team player– an excellent communicator, strong collaborator, someone who solicits feedback from others, is welcoming of better ideas

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in highly technical roles in product management, development or enterprise services.
• Direct experience in API and/or web security such as WAF, API Security products, secure web gateways (SWG).
• Direct experience in Owasp API Top 10, Authentication and Authorization threats, and Data protection
• Knowledge of GraphQL, REST, and Grpc protocols
• Comfortable operating in an agile, fast-paced, startup environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
