Location: Quincy, MA

FreightPlus is seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to develop and scale our product roadmap and strategy across three key verticals: data analytics, 3rd party integrations, and 1st party propriety technology. You are a creative problem solver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You'll be responsible for creating the product strategy and vision for a new global product roadmap and you will own product features, roadmaps, go-to-market plans and adoption both internally and with our clients.

This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with engineering, design, operations, finance and executive teams to define and implement new product features to grow new business opportunities. You will proactively identify and resolve strategic issues and schedule the resources to deliver your program. Other key responsibilities include monitoring the execution of your cross functional project and ensuring appropriate levels of quality to maintain the overall integrity of the project.

Additionally, you will manage our agile process end to end. From business opportunity sizing, to requirements, to user stories, to implementation, UAT and QA to MVP launch and adoption.

Other responsibilities include:

• Develop strategic business cases to leverage core technology capabilities for implementation in various use cases in FreightPlus's business. Develop product management documentation, including user scenarios and detailed business requirements.
• Interact with key business and technical stakeholders to define and track key product performance indicators (KPIs), as well as release-specific success metrics.
• Interface with partner and technical teams to identify opportunities to innovate and improve product capabilities.
• Work with early-adopter and visionary customers to invent the next set of customer-centric pricing and freight movement solutions.
• Bring an eye for user experience and design to ensure features drive high adoption and client delight.

Requirements

Basic

• 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, product development, or strategy roles
• 3+ years of technical knowledge and experience working closely with engineering teams
• Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases

Preferred

• Freight and/or Transportation experience.
• Experience in cross-functional roles and a proven track record of delivering successful products to market.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the landscape.
• Experience in managing customer facing applications for API and EDI based services.
• A deep understanding of software development in a team, and a proven track record of shipping software quickly then iterating on the experience.
• Enterprise software development experience
• Experience as owner with the ability to drive prioritization consensus across business units and serve as an effective liaison between internal customers and engineering.
• Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
