Description:
project44 is seeking a smart, passionate, and collaborative Sr Product Manager to join our Product team. If you are obsessed with data and the users of your product and know how to operate in a fast-paced environment, you may be the perfect fit.
Have you ever had a package disappear or arrive damaged? Your goal in this role is to help consumers, just like you, receive their orders on time and in one piece by creating best-in-class SaaS consumer delivery experience products in the thriving e-commerce supply chain space. Data is the lifeblood of project44 and our products and services power better experiences and outcomes for some of the largest e-commerce retailers in the world, like Walmart, The Home Depot, Costco, Nordstrom, and H&M. You will be expected to take both a creative and analytical approach using data, wisdom, and expertise to make decisions that generate valuable business outcomes.
Product Management is the hub of the company, linking our strategy to execution, and you will be expected to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally. Your day-to-day will be working closely with Engineering to drive product development execution and best practices, Sales and Marketing to take new products to market, Customer Success to ensure retailer value, and the entire business to determine what's next.
Responsibilities:
- Discover new ways to innovate, compile research, create documentation, and plan product enhancements in concert with the Engineering, Design, Customer Success and Product Marketing teams.
- Gather market feedback, use cases, and requirements directly from customers and prospects as well as from project44’s Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams.
- Assess market competition by comparing project44’s products to competitors' products.
- Create a product roadmap for transparency and collaboration with the extended Product team to ensure roadmap alignment and dependency awareness.
- Collaborate with Engineering to breakdown work and sequence into development cycles that deliver incremental value and incorporate real user feedback on a regular and continuous basis.
- Work with Product Marketing and Product Operations to create product rollout and release plans, testing plans, internal and external training materials, and all the last-minute decision-making required to get something incredible out the door.
- Define and drive success via OKRs and KPIs for end users along a funnel of adoption after launch, troubleshooting areas of friction, and delivering solutions that solve consumer delivery experience problems.
- Continuously look for process improvements to initiate change.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline that has propelled you to build tech chops in your career, from computer science to business.
- 5+ years of related experience with at least 2 years in Product Management roles developing and launching products within SaaS.
- B2C user experience and design savvy.
- Knowledge, experience with data architecture and complex datasets.
- Experience working in a venture-backed startup.
- Extremely strong verbal, visual and written communication skills, and can message appropriately for all levels of the organization using data and visualizations.
- Passion and empathy for the product and for our users and strong belief in the mission of creating customer and user value.
- Proven critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to self-manage and act with autonomy.
- Detail oriented, but also strategic. You should be able to context switch from guiding on implementation details to giving a company presentation with ease and aplomb.
- Must be located in the US or Canada.
- This position requires travel to global project44, customers, and partner locations.
- E-commerce, supply chain, and/or logistics experience is a plus.
