Senior Product Manager

Role Overview

As Senior Product Manager at AvidXchange you will deliver products that solve customer problems.

More specifically, AvidXchange is continuing to expand its Supplier digital self-service offerings into new communities and new product categories. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to discover, define, and evangelize our self-service Supplier portal strategy across our Supplier network of 800K+ Suppliers.

In this role you will help identify opportunities within our Support digital portal for enabling touchless capabilities for small and medium sized businesses, and along the customer journey identify opportunities to deliver customer value across a spectrum of platform offerings. You will use your judgment and work closely with your Design, Customer Research, Engineering, Support, Community, and Success teams to build the vision and prioritize direction for the digital Supplier experience.

Responsibilities

• You will be accountable to the end-to-end product experience and commercial success of the product
• Develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of the product offerings business model, competitive differentiators, and leverage through understandings through strategy design
• Expected to participate in market research, facilitate workshops, and perform customer visits to know and passionately advocate for your customers daily; you need to be the champion and voice of customers in every conversation.
• Establish the product strategy for your product area through P&L model creation, business plan, development of new offering concepts, and management of execution and aspirational roadmaps
• Build trust to drive a singular product vision amongst engineering, marketing, product marketing, operational, support & sales teams to ensure success of product GTM strategies to launch
• Ruthlessly prioritize; you will work together with other PMs, engineering leaders and designers to make tactical prioritization decisions while helping the team think long-term.
• Gather data and generate product insights through data analysis of application and other sources to manage and socialize the performance of your offerings.
• Discover and solve customer market problems through ideation, solution design, stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, launch, and monitoring performance
• Evolve a product idea through a design-first thought process and collaborate with the UX/Design team to create wireframes and mockups to visually demonstrate the imagined user experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, executive sponsors, executive suite, and conferences on product roadmap, initiatives, etc.
• Deliver the best work in a limited time span; you will need to listen to diverse perspectives and work with others to move forward to ship secure, maintainable, and consistent features.
• Demonstrate a resourceful, driven attitude and a willingness to get your hands dirty when taking on tasks, while balancing pragmatic solutions against our team's timelines and exceed expectations when opportunities arise.

Required Skills

• Experience is required within the Product Owner, Product Management, or Business Analyst
• Azure DevOps (TFS), Jira, Rally, or similar planning & development tool
• Experience delivering SAAS/web customer centric products
• Well versed in user centered design
• Worked within Agile development methodologies
• Leading or mentoring a team of product managers and product owners
• Successfully lead multiple concurrent product initiative

Desired Skills

• University Degree or equivalent experience + min 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience in Pragmatic Product and Marketing methodology highly preferred
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, or finance experience preferred
• Wireframing, prototyping, and user testing experience valuable
• B2B and/or FinTech experience valuable
