Senior Product Manager

About the position:

Ditto aims to expand the internet beyond traditional reach. Our groundbreaking software empowers devices to synchronize data in real-time, using cutting-edge peer-to-peer technology that runs on mobile, web, IoT, and server systems.  We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to support Ditto’s work syncing data between autonomous vehicles used by the Department of Defense (DoD).

As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

Lead agile development process:

• Interface directly with customers from government agencies and with other vendors working with Ditto, and ensure that current sprints align to customer’s priority requirements
• Work closely with engineers to lead quick, agile prototyping of features that address customer priorities; gather feedback from the customer and iterate on the next versions of these features
• Lead engineering team meetings and agile ceremonies to continuously gather the priority tasks and features for each sprint, and to gather updates to relay back to the customer
• Own the product backlog and consistently groom it based on customers’ needs and priorities

Create and own the product roadmap:

• Develop a detailed product roadmap with timelines for product development and prioritize features that are most impactful to customer needs and opportunities
• Communicate upcoming feature delivery to stakeholders
• Turn customer conversations and feedback into requirements and map these requirements to product backlog

Execute product strategy:

• Become an expert in the customer’s mission and priorities to understand how best to serve their needs and to discover opportunities for expansion into adjacent areas
• Drive an excellent experience for end users; to do so, perform user research, gather customer feedback, and research industry and competitor trends
• Be well-informed about competitor offerings and updates, and use this to drive Ditto’s product differentiation
• Perform product demonstrations for potential customers

What you’ll need: 

• 5+ years in a software product development role
• 3+ years in product management role
• Experience managing agile development process, including driving sprints, tracking progress, and regularly providing updates to clients and stakeholders
• Ability to collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
• Ability to fully execute projects from inception in an ambiguous environment
• Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
• U.S. citizenship and ability to maintain security clearance

Nice to haves:

• Familiarity with UxV hardware
• Familiarity with Autonomy and ATR software
• Experience working with DoD customers
