Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a (Sr.) Product Manager with outbound focus to grow and expand the business opportunities of our Blade product line. Your primary goal is to engage, develop, and expand our customer bases through promotion, marketing and education, while using your strong product management and technical background towards product definition and roadmap strategy. Tasks also include research into vertical solutions and creation of effective marketing collaterals for go-to market plans. In collaborating with marketing and sales departments to promote the Blade product, interaction with customers for product delivery as well as working with development teams for product definition and delivery, you need to demonstrate strong communication, coordination and project management skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Be the best advocate of SMC's Blade product line
• Keep abreast of server technology to liaise between customers and Blade functional teams
• Develop and deliver a clear strategy and partner closely with marketing, FAE, business development, rack and solutions teams to provide complete Blade solutions to customers
• Work closely with Blade product development teams on product and roadmap definition, early customer engagement and timely delivery of Blade products with quality
• Create product and marketing collaterals/materials for product introduction, positioning, competitive analysis, and solutions
• Provide product training, roadmap update and solutions internally (Sales, FAE, BD) and to customers
• Revenue-orientated by working with sales, FAE, marketing, and business development
• Support in pre-sales engagement with customers of various levels and functions to convey our capabilities and vision, understand customers' challenges and requirements to provide competitive product and solution offering
• Leverage project management and communication skill to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction in our Blade product and service (engagement and post-sale phase)
• Enable Blade OEM products through technology overview, product positioning, feature & function advocation and requirement discussion related to product and solutions

Qualifications:

• BSEE/CS, MSEE/CS with 5+ years relevant experience
• Sufficient knowledge in server related technologies
• Demonstrated ability in product marketing and/or product management role, must have managed a number of products from initial concept through development, launch, and end-of-life
• Demonstrated strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills to work in cross-functional organization
• Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment
• Exceptional communication and presentation skill is a must, able to communicate effectively with customers to promote, answer questions, and receive feedback
• Good project management experience and skills

Salary Range

$88,000 - $160,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
