Job Description

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Ensure efficient and high-performance operational implementation of BU/function's projects via project and product management.

Manage major, strategic projects across multiple partners. Refine and implement internal creation process management in accordance with strategic direction across the Business Unit.

Work with all necessary functions to deliver the category business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop/refine and implement and manage cross-functional alignment of product creation processes in collaborations within the triads
  • Show full understanding and drive the product creation process whilst managing all tasks within the given timeframes
  • Proactively manage the development of key, strategic business projects, to ensure partnership and brand objectives are met, cross-functional teams are aligned, critical seasonal timelines are met
  • Proactively analyse business, draw conclusions and act upon; drive profitability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clear communication, optimisation of processes, on-time deliveries to stakeholders
  • Ensure efficient communication and information sharing between triads through implementation and maintenance of practices and tools to make information visible and comprehensible for decision makers across shifting priorities and projects
  • Support an effective working relationship across the creation environment through regular communication and interaction.
  • Become a role model for other team members in regards to product creation process
  • Show leadership through living the brand values
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with cross-functional teams and with interlinked departments to enable an efficient product creation process; ensure product excellence
  • Establish, communicate, and champion project methodologies
  • Write design briefs, project timings, and project plans
  • Manage overall project workload and maintain project list
  • Support teams in all operational issues
  • Strong knowledge of product information systems and the interlinking functions - clarity on respective timelines
  • High level of product expertise to create industry leading products
  • Prepare and present ranges and business related topics - with respective audience in mind - by using relevant structure and content
  • Identify projects to optimize category performance; work independently and steer to conclusion

Accountable

  • As needed, running the weekly team first line meetings (including agenda) in partnership with Category Director
  • Keeping an ongoing project list and organizing calendars / deadlines
  • Team bonding - working with to ensure continual team get togethers
  • Leading key milestones (ex: GTM CI) to ensure all team leads are prepared and creating what's necessary
  • Day-to-day project and product management tasks

Key Relationships:

  • Steer a strong relationship and ensure constant dialogue/feedback with
    • business unit and across other BU's
    • cross-functional team (Design, Development, CtC, Culture Marketing, Sports Marketing, Materials, Costing, Planning)
    • Markets
    • Third party partners / partner teams

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven skills and capabilities in project management, organization, time and highly operational and detail oriented

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • College degree, preferably in marketing/business/textile/fashion
  • Minimum of 5 years Product Marketing experience with APP, FTW or ACC background
  • Self-starter, strong self initiative
  • IT skills: Macintosh software, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint: advanced
  • Fluent in English
