Senior Product Manager

EnergyHub empowers utilities and their customers to create a clean, distributed energy future. Our customers are real utilities managing the real electrical grid supporting the normal lives of millions of real people. Our mission is to keep the grid running reliably while enabling more renewable energy and reducing reliance on fossil fuel.

We are expanding our product team and looking for a hard-working and creative Product Manager to own our Commercial & Industrial and Market Participation solutions. We are looking for a senior individual contributor with a strong solutions focus and an interest in building great software products that help make the electric grid greener and more reliable.

At EnergyHub, the product team is involved in almost every facet of our business. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate across the organization -- from software engineering to marketing to business development to QA to support. We work as a team, so in addition to owning your solution, you will also have the opportunity to weigh in across the portfolio on projects ranging from figuring out how to supercharge customer participation to designing grid-scale energy management applications to launching web services for partner integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Own and contribute to the entire product development lifecycle: discovering problems and opportunities , defining solutions in partnership with design and technical teams, working closely with engineers to build solutions, collaborating with product marketing to ensure successful releases, and measuring results of those releases
• Run qualitative and quantitative product research to figure out what customers actually want from our products and services
• Gather market feedback, interact closely  with clients, and ensure that the products we’re building are actually meeting those needs
• Work closely with cross-functional internal teams to prioritize our roadmap and build consensus around a product vision
• Develop expertise in the Commercial & Industrial and Market Participation space
• Generate ideas and advocate for new product features and enhancements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software product management or related experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop and launch awesome products
• Experience launching large scale initiatives
• Proven self-starter who is motivated and has a track record of delivering results
• Strong design and usability sense; you should also be able to step into the user's shoes and be their advocate
• Excellent writing, organizational, and time-management skills
• A quantitative and analytical aptitude and a desire to make decisions informed by data
• Familiarity with the tools of the trade. For example: Google Workspace, Figma, Atlassian, Excel, Photoshop/Sketch, and querying databases for analysis

Nice to have:

• Experience with enterprise SaaS products
• Experience working in the energy technology or IoT space
• Familiarity with modern software engineering tools and frameworks
• Familiarity with modern grid management and planning tools and frameworks
