Equifax is seeking a product manager who has a desire to work on a winning team dedicated to providing customers with the right resources to help them succeed.
Responsible for the overall performance of the product, overseeing it from inception and ideation through design, build, launch, growth, enhancement and eventual sunset. Creates product roadmap and identifies delivery channels, direction of product and product development needs. Influencing and collaborating with others in cross functional teams (D&A, technology, sales, fulfillment, product marketing, finance, legal) to define product requirements ultimately bringing products to market.
What you'll do
- Analyze and drive overall market understanding related to customer needs and industry research
- Evaluate competitive landscape and utilize understanding of the competitors to identify and articulate high-potential opportunities
- Conduct market validation through review and testing of concepts with existing and prospective customers (VOC, customer advisory)
- Gather feedback and drive improvements during development; Facilitate development of commercial model and packaging decisions
- Track, monitor and ensure effective performance of the product including attainment of revenue and margin objectives
- Collect, analyze and interpret data to reach conclusions and/or present insights and findings to drive product lifecycle management decisions including enhancements and sunsetting
- Proactively identifies, recommends, and implements value-added solutions to strengthen relationships with customers, providing insights on downstream outcomes and recommending alternative solutions to customers when their requests are not in their best interests.
What experience you need
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in product management
What could set you apart
- M.B.A. preferred or equivalent business experience.
- Preferably your experience is in Mortgage or Data and Analytics roles
- Proven ability to manage a products full life cycle from ideation/research to implementation
- Developed business cases and defined product roadmaps, including planning sessions across Product Delivery Value Streams
- Solid understanding of customers' perspectives to advocate for customer needs and gain commitment for the resources needed to meet those needs.
- Ability to explain complex or sensitive information and work to build support and agreement
