We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Commerce team within our Customer Product organization. This role will help us design and develop the core diner platform capabilities to help users through their purchasing journey in the mid to lower funnel. The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in eCommerce, has strong business, technical, and analytical acumen, is comfortable managing trade offs, and is a strong communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders from peer-level to C-level. They excel at problem-solving in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and are adept at leveraging data and insights to drive value through their products. In addition, the ability to develop and work backwards from a deep understanding of the customer's perspective is crucial. You will report directly to a Director, Product Management.

New York Salary Range: $148,000 - $178,00
The Base Pay component of our Total Rewards package is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: job responsibilities, location, experience and, education/certifications. In addition to the pay component, this role may be eligible for equity and benefits as part of the Total Rewards package. The Total Rewards package will be determined at the time a contingent offer is made.

The Impact You Will Drive:
- Set Vision: Establish a long term vision, set goals, and build a roadmap that positions the Commerce team to deliver on its goals
- Gather and unearth business opportunities through research, data analysis, user experience analysis, competitive research, testing and experimentation
- Manages product features, influences customers, vendors, external partners, and engineering teams priorities
- Proficiently communicates clearly and effectively both verbally and written with Product, Design, Engineering and Business partners to ensure clear messaging of the product strategy and goals across the company
- Able to liaison between Product and non-technical/product partnersto clearly explain complex product concepts in a simple language
- Sets clear, quantitative measures for product(s) and monitors process, progress, and results
- Delivering on rigorous, quantifiable business objectives in a matrixed, flat organization
- Playing a key role on the company's strategic direction, defining and articulating new opportunities, and working in close concert with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, Grubhub's technology team and various business teams
- Identifies when there are areas of improvement within the team and proactively mentors them to help close those gaps
- Invests heavily in coaching and mentoring other PMs on their team
- Demonstrates strong writing and storytelling skills through product briefs, jira tickets, opportunity assessments, etc.
- Actively makes process improvements
- Drives large features within their domain and is the SME for those crossing a number of partners
What You Bring to the Table:
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager in an Agile environment
- Experience in user-facing industries such as eCommerce, technology or multi-sided marketplaces
- BA/BS required, with a focus on computer science or mathematics preferred
- Proficient analytical and quantitative skills and strong bias towards data-driven decision-making, preferably in the context of experiment
- Experience manipulating large, raw datasets using tools/techniques such as SQL, pivot tables, lookups, etc.; experience with Presto, Redash, Tableau
- Proven collaboration skills, working across a broad organization including technology, product design, data science and Finance
- Demonstrated experience launching search features in high growth markets; History of successfully delivering large scale projects in high-quality, managing the entire life-cycle
- Familiar with product development in Agile and OKR methodologies, preferably with squad or tribe structures
- Ability to weigh competing priorities, manage trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with stakeholders, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities
- Strong technical understanding for area of product development and focus and is building awareness at the architecture level
- An innate understanding of technology and how to use it to deliver outstanding and innovative products is a must
