Job Description 

SambaNova is hiring a Senior Product Manager. This is a high-visibility position which will be part of the team that is building our SambaNova Suite from scratch. SambaNova Suite enables customers to use Generative AI without worrying about the complexity of underlying software & hardware infrastructure. This person will collaborate cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, ML, Marketing & Support teams to contribute towards building a winning roadmap for the product, identify dependencies across teams, improve processes and get impactful features out in the market in  time. This is a highly impactful role that requires a deep understanding of deep learning applications in NLP & Computer Vision. You will tackle technical challenges, customer pain points, and the competitive landscape and help shape the vision of our products.

This individual will be responsible for:

• Work in close collaboration with the product & ML team to define the product vision and technical requirements including all aspects of the future roadmap, investment, innovation, and experimentation with a particular focus on on developing generative AI applications that improve/augment user workflows
• Understand the nuances between shipping products to customers versus delivering them as cloud services.
• Research the MLOps market, including how different products are positioned and differentiated, and help define how SambaNova’s specific capabilities should be built.
• Drive product development by defining milestones, priorities, and execution plans.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Customer Engineering, and Sales teams to successfully launch products, drive adoption and make customers successful.
• Be the business owner for your feature/use case area, set the product vision, enable product execution, and drive business outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of product management experience with at least 2 year of experience in AI

Additional Required Qualifications

• Deep understanding of practices and workflows in finance and legal domains
• Ability to define technical requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Shipped user-facing or API products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for the precise articulation of customer problems
• Experience building brand new products or working in a startup environment
• Intellectually curious, particular on generative AI on the ecosystems being built around it

Annual Salary Range and Level

The base salary for this position ranges from $155,000.00/year up to $190,000.00/year. This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the salary target for new hires in the US. Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
