The team of developers, testers, engineers, designers and managers obsess over Nike's iconic silhouettes and create groundbreaking new styles. Nike, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Collaborate with stakeholders to define feature delivery schedule milestones by means of product roadmap and backlog refinement. Own team risks, issues, and escalations, and drive to resolution. Help teams estimate and decompose complex projects into manageable parts with delivery plans and track progress against those plans. Manage, mentor, and inspire a team, managing performance, goals and development potential. Clarify requirements, analyze business value, and prioritize development efforts for multiple technology projects of various complexities. Understand current and future needs of the digital product, by means of defining features, determining success criteria, validate solutions, and evaluate customer satisfaction. Develop software release plans/schedules/project charters working closely with development team to ensure data subscribers needs, product quality standards and delivery deadlines are met, by means of writing User-Acceptance test cases. Maintain close relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand and communicate their needs and participate in validation of the solutions. Own the delivery plan and progress to the plan (Feature Complete and Iteration Objectives). Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, and to ensure vendor/shared service deliverables and milestones are clear, track their progress towards feature completion and adjust the team backlog accordingly. Engage in all agile ceremonies, quarterly Planning, and system demos as a voice of customer. Prioritize and make trade-offs based on understanding of strategies, budget, epics, requirements, goals and the value features and stories bring to the business. Work directly with dedicated engineering team to drive tactical execution and ensure that Nike products exceed standards of quality.
Applicant must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Multimedia Design and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must include:
- Lambda;
- EC2;
- Kinesis Streams;
- DynamoDB;
- S3;
- Product Management;
- Microservice Architecture;
- Retail Expertise;
- Data and Analytics;
- Store Reporting;
- Customer Satisfaction Metrics; and
- Agile Methodology
