About this role:
Biz2X is looking for a visionary software product manager to lead the roadmap and feature development efforts for many of our innovative financial technology (fintech) software applications, including those used by Fortune 50 banks and tens of thousands of small business owners. You are a workhorse product building expert who lives and breathes for creating the best solutions to complex problems through the power of great software. You understand how to pivot from working with developers and designers to piecing through business requirements and extracting unique insights from end-users and key stakeholders. Further, you can clearly communicate your ideas and task requirements to team members, coach them to level-up work outputs and explain the business value of your work to all stakeholders, both internal and external.
Responsibilities:
Evolve and ensure progress against a visionary product roadmap for our companys numerous fintech software applications.
Lead product engineering initiatives from feature definition through to final implementation across a range of innovative fintech products.
Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders from marketing, project management, engineering, business development and design teams about business requirements for key software applications.
Actively contribute to meeting the product specification requirements of numerous projects across platforms and assist with projects across different software applications as needed.
Contribute to meeting design production timeframes and helping team members meet their deadlines.
Create eye-catching templates for our marketing team to use across multiple platforms, including landing pages, core website pages, the blog, and other channels as required.
Bring new ideas for product features and differentiated value to the marketing and engineering teams using your expertise and intuition for great product.
Develop and manage project plans to ensure timely completion of implementations.
Maintain product documentation, issue resolution tasks, change requests and change management to deliver on product roadmaps.
Coach and guide team members to complete tasks and project deliverables at the highest level of quality in the fintech industry.
Seek ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to clients.
Keep teams motivated to deliver a successful implementation on each project.
Collaborate with company leaders, marketing teammates, and other important stakeholders on key strategic projects.
Position Requirements
Requirements/Key Attributes:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent working experience.
6+ years experience with SaaS product development.
Proficient using variety of product roadmap and project management tools (Jira, Atlassian, Asana, Github).
Proficient user of wireframing and mockup tools (InVision, Adobe XD).
Excellent knowledge of customer and market research methodologies for designing product features that meet customer needs.
Data-driven product leader proficient in working closely with Engineering and UX Design teams. Experience with offshore development teams a plus.
Natural leader with the ability to maintain multiple projects without compromising results.
Top-notch organization and planning skills.
Highly quantitative, analytical and business minded person.
Superior communication skills (verbal and written).
Working knowledge of front-end development languages including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
