Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Actively manages the product roadmap, balancing near-term initiatives and long-term priorities

Identifies and researches new opportunities for the product

Leads the product prioritization process

Serves as the face of the product for all stakeholders

Influences industry groups and conferences

Monitors and responds to clinical research trends

Works with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to establish your product's value proposition, market fit, and sales approach

Collaborates with customers to identify workflow focus areas

Partners with the product team to refine ideas and bring features to market

Identifies and tracks product health and performance metrics, sharing progress with cross-functional and leadership stakeholders

Consults with internal stakeholders to enhance the customer experience

Sets, communicates, and gets buy-in on release goals

Collaborates with Product Owner to track progress and mitigate risks

Leads efforts to further improve product team processes

Mentors and onboards new team members

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Effectively communicates, tailors messaging appropriately, including with customer leaders and industry experts

Understands and clarifies complex business scenarios

Makes decisions based on input gathered from a variety of sources

Leverages data and intuition to set product's direction

Thinks critically and creatively to develop solutions and overcome roadblocks

Easily builds trust and rapport with customers and cross-functional teams

Education

High School diploma required

College degree in Business, Technology or related preferred

Experience

5+ years of previous experience in software development planning or analysis

Previous experience in clinical research or healthcare technology a plus

Experience with agile/scrum preferred
