PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine and evaluate new opportunities to increase revenues and profits.
- Drives discovery from both a qualitative and quantitative context to build solid, data driven, business plans and strategies.
- Manages appropriate ROI and related financial analysis of products. Identifies product enhancements to balance a favorable return on investment with customer needs.
- Manages the coordination and analysis of market research to understand customer behavior, product satisfaction, and emerging business opportunities.
- Expands analytic offerings utilizing data assets available throughout CoreLogic.
- Defines product strategy and product roadmaps with clear objectives and long-term vision. Ensures delivery of innovation and customer value through product development process. Determines clear prioritization and appropriate trade-offs regarding implementation issues based upon understanding constraints, dependencies, costs, resources and customer benefits.
- Defines value positioning for products to assist other areas of the organization in product marketing for pricing, positioning, product launch plans complete with go-to-market materials.
- Formulates, documents, and communicates tactical, actionable requirements for product development.
- Works with prospects, customers and partners to gather feedback, assess new data sources, identify next gen features, define product requirements and functionality. Engages in customer-facing activities such as customer demos, conferences, customer visits and tradeshows.
- Works closely with product development to orchestrate the development and release process. Suggests and drives partnerships for products. Collaborates with various departments to ensure product delivery and quality goals are achieved and maintained.
- Develop, build, and manage responses to RFP's, creating a library for the Product Management team.
- Participate in research & development (R&D) activities to identify potential new data & technology partners. Support activities for M&A (mergers & acquisitions) funnel creation, business case development, and due diligence.
- Achieves revenue goals.
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- BS Degree or equivalent work/industry experience; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years proven experience in high-tech business management, product management or marketing which includes some combination of forecasting and budgeting, product and/or business strategy determination, market research, pricing analysis and/or product development.
- Experience in data operations and/or residential/commercial real estate industry highly desirable.
- Prefer experience in working with tools and methodologies specific to the product line(s) assigned.
- Prefer experience in managing products involving large scale data-driven applications.
- Prefer experience in data analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience, or leadership through influencing.
- Analytical skills with an understanding of statistical models and how they are used in a product solution.
- User interface (UI) design experience.
- Experience using Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or other UI design software.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Aha! is a plus.
- Ability to assess product opportunities through market research and client feedback to develop market sizing, pricing, costing and ROI analysis.
- Experience with project development methodology (i.eAgile, Waterfall, Extreme) preferred.
- Negotiation skills.
- Data analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Presentation skills to present to and persuade large and diverse audiences.
