Senior Product Manager
Job Description
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of product management experience within technology and/or software development
- Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
- Must be data-driven with good grasp of statistics; strong experience leveraging data and analytics to monitor performance, generate insights and rationalize decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; participate in determining objectives of assignment; plan, schedule, and arrange own activities in accomplishing objectives
- Ability to concisely describe complex problems to business stakeholders and gather buy-in
- Proven ability to collaborate withinternal/externaltechnical peers and business partners
- Experience in Field Service Management (FSM), Case Management, Insurance / Warranty / Service Industries/ Contact Centersis a plus
- Scaled Agile Framework SAFe experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds
- Drive product strategy, partnering closely with cross-functional teams and critical business stakeholders in Customer Experience, Operations, Legal, Finance, IT, and others to define OKR-based product roadmaps
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, while working with key constituents from within IT and across other functions
- Support communications, meetings, and other collaborations as appropriate to effectively perform work and to understand, resolve, and/or mitigate risks, obstacles, and conflicts in performance of functional activities.
- Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across the organization, working through multiple product areas and functions
- Develop a deep understanding of the business, our customer needs and journeys, competitor landscape, market trends and solution ecosystem
- Build strong cases for initiatives that involve benefits, opportunity cost, ROI, IRR, financials, risk, and trade-offs
- Fundamental understanding of financials and managing a product to it
- Managing/coaching small multidisciplinary product teams and collaborating with designers, business users, and developers to innovate and drive product development
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key management within significant vendor organizations to stay current with technology and other developments within those companies, and working with partners to conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Managing projects by defining and achieving project outcomes and meeting project key performance metric targetsand results
