The Senior Product Manager, Ad Tech will be responsible for expanding our ad capabilities with programmatic partner integrations and delivering the optimal ad experience across DDM brands. We seek a collaborative and proactive self starter to lead a team of skilled engineers. The ideal candidate has a familiarity with the ad tech landscape and yield optimization across a robust technical infrastructure that includes internal and external components.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the strategy and product roadmap for our ad tech stack and partner integrations
  • Lead large, complex projects and manage the priority of day-to-day operations
  • Advise and contribute to cross-team initiatives, scaling brand monetization with user-first intent
  • Communicate cross-functionally with stakeholders ensuring buy-in, consensus and priority
  • Partner with revenue operations to size the opportunity and risk of new products/features
  • Explore, pitch, and implement new ad formats that will drive user action and engagement
  • Knowledge share technical product detail with ad operations, sales, and production teams
  • Prioritize the backlog and define requirements, ensuring that work aligns with OKRs
  • Create A/B testing strategies to drive yield and ad performance, then evaluate the results

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of hands-on product management - ideation, strategy, analysis and Scrum ownership
  • Knowledge of what makes for a best in class user advertising experience because you've done this before, e.g. experience at a digital publisher, ad tech platform or digital media buying agency
  • Excellent prioritization skills and experience applying them in support of a product roadmap
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through
  • Ability to communicate the big picture and drill down to supporting details
  • Excellent multi-tasking and close attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations
  • Curious and seeks to learn more by digging in
  • High energy; positive approach
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment
  • Fluent in Agile principles and methodology

Preferred:
  • You have worked directly with revenue operations, sales teams, and/or advertising clients
  • You have a solid understanding of the digital ad serving, programmatic, and measurement technology ecosystem (e.g. SSPs, DSPs, Header Bidding, DMPs, etc.)

Pay Range
Salary: $115,000 - $165,000
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
