Senior Product Manager, Admin Platform

Life.io is a B2B2C SaaS Solution serving the life insurance industry and we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team! In this role, you will work on the conceptualization and execution of an administrative platform that gives internal employees, and ultimately Life.io's customers, the ability to manage and configure our flagship product—Life.io Engage. Life.io Engage is a white-labeled rewards and education platform offered by life insurance carriers to their policyholders, which helps those policyholders improve their financial, physical, and emotional well-being while strengthening their relationship to the carrier.

The right candidate is passionate about building clean and intuitive user experiences that help people accomplish (and even enjoy!) their work and has 4+ years of experience in Product Management.

• Define and build out product documentation for the Admin platform
• Work closely with designers to prototype the Admin platform against requirements using a scalable design system
• Perform usability testing with the internal parties that will use the system to validate design patterns and user journeys
• Execute on validated conceptual prototypes by defining an achievable iterative plan
• Write epics and functional requirements, and review more junior product managers requirements, providing feedback and guidance as needed
• Own the 6-12 month Admin roadmap, working closely with Technical Project Management and Engineering to prioritize, size, and deliver platform enhancements
• Work closely with Technical Project Management and Product to groom the ticket backlog and plan upcoming sprints
• Work ahead of the roadmap, proposing new ideas to product leadership and getting buy-in for enhancements and new functionality that can drive business outcomes
• Solicit regular feedback on live site from key stakeholders in order to continuously improve the platform

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Product Management
• Experience working with designers and front-end Engineers
• Experience working with user research and performing usability testing
• Demonstrated understanding of how to build a scalable platform
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Experience working for a SaaS company
• Experience working on a platform that adheres to ADA / WCAG guidelines
