BillionToOne is looking for a Senior Product Manager, AI to drive the adoption and implementation of Generative AI technologies within our company. Generative AI is disrupting every corner of the industry including biotech and healthcare. We are looking for a founder-type product leader who is obsessed with generative AI and can’t stop thinking about new ways to apply them. You will play a pivotal role in evangelizing Generative AI and identifying opportunities to leverage its potential in various aspects of our business, from areas unique to healthcare/biotech (e.g., healthcare data x AI) to general business process problems (e.g., customer success x AI). Your primary responsibility will be to explore and implement generative AI solutions that improve productivity, enhance innovation, and drive business growth. The Senior Product Manager, AI is a hybrid position (onsite 2-3 days/week) and will report to our Director of Product.

• AI Opportunity Identification and Evangelism:
• Identify and evangelize AI opportunities within the company, showcasing the immense potential of Generative AI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover challenges and areas where Generative AI can drive impact and innovation.
• Solution Identification and Implementation:
• Unleash your creative thinking to identify untapped areas in the business workflow where Generative AI can revolutionize processes and outcomes.
• Lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge Generative AI solutions, pushing boundaries and fostering innovation.
• Collaboration and Empowerment:
• Collaborate with and empower individuals across the company, enabling them to become users and creators of Generative AI solutions.
• Provide guidance, support, and training to teams, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to implement AI solutions independently.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve:
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, ensuring our company remains at the forefront of innovation.
• Continuously explore emerging technologies and techniques to leverage the latest AI breakthroughs in our solutions and strategies.

Requirements:

• Expert user of generative AI tools. For example, you have used multiple generative AI platforms such as GPT-4, Bard, Github Copilot, LaMDA and can talk about the pros/cons. You can guide GPT-4’s performance through carefully designed prompts etc.
• You have built at least one application using generative AI (for work or fun).
• 3+ years of experience in product management or a past/present founder of a company
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in launching products from start to finish
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proactive, self-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with machine learning, deep learning, and related technologies

For this position, we offer a total compensation package of $250,000 per year, including a base pay range of $160,000-$180,000 per year.
