Senior Product Manager, Apps Experience

Reddit has an amazing history of individual and community driven innovation. With no official support, thousands of user scripts and self-identified bots run against our API and enrich the experience Redditors have on our platform. The goal of the Reddit Developer Platform team is to take our user’s creative energy and transform Reddit from a content platform to an experience and content platform.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our Apps Experience. 3rd party developers will use our developer platform to build and launch Apps to improve the core experience for all Redditors. As the lead PM for Apps Experience, your goal will be to build products which drive adoption of Apps. This includes defining the entry points users have for discovering and sharing Apps like our App Directory. You will also establish the guardrails which balance providing developers with flexibility while ensuring Apps improve the Redditor experience. You will work closely with engineering, design and other product teams to ensure developers can achieve success on our platform.

Responsibilities

• You will be the leader for Reddit’s App Experience product suite
• Key responsibilities include: creating the vision, building roadmaps, driving execution and delivering on outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to set a long-term strategy.

Required Qualifications:

• At least three years of product management experience
• Strong product sense, execution, and communication skills
• Experience taking a software product from concept to launch
• Experience with user experience design and deep understanding and incorporating user empathy into products

Preferred Qualifications:

• A long time Redditor who understands our product and users!
• Experience defining and executing strategy for developer-facing products
• At least five years of experience in a Product Manager role
• Hands-on software engineering experience for personal projects or prior work experience
