What we’re looking for

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager who has a proven track record of designing innovative products and features and shipping them through several product cycles in the auto insurance industry or other regulated markets. You will work with customers, internal teams, product managers, engineering, marketing and design teams to align the product vision, create functional specifications, implement a plan, and ultimately deliver a high-quality product. The successful candidate will have effective written and oral communication skills, excellent cross-organizational and project management skills and thrive in a highly innovative, evolving and ambiguous environment.

What You’ll Do

• Product Roadmap
  • Constantly evaluate our products against the market to inform and refine our roadmap, by benchmarking competitive product offerings and pricing, maintaining awareness of industry trends, identifying consumer insights and investigating new products in the market.
  • Working with the product leadership team; develop a medium- and long-term roadmap for auto insurance which includes developing concepts and rapidly testing them against the market to inform priorities.
  • Gain an intimate understanding of the auto insurance industry and provide strategic insight to Product Managers, Designers, Dev leads, Marketing, Sales and the ELT in order to align vision and drive execution.
• Product Development
  • Engage extensively with internal and external stakeholders, synthesize that information and build a vision for specific features or products that can be clearly articulated to the business to build consensus.
  • Translate your product vision into elegant, highly scalable solutions that apply to the US and International auto insurance market.
  • Working with the engineering team and other functions where needed, create detailed documentation for any product to minimize ambiguity and ensure success.
• Product Delivery
  • Lead a cross functional team to ensure product delivery remains on track by pre-empting issues and ensuring all steps of the development lifecycle are being followed.
  • Working closely with the project management and product marketing team, be the driving force behind the product launch activities, ensuring all parts of the product launch checklist are completed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and evaluate features and products post launch to establish if it met the success goals and inform future features, products or launches.

Proven experience in:

• A high-performance Product Management role for 5+ years
• The insurance industry or other regulated markets, preferably Auto Insurance in a Product Management role
• Delivering cloud-based SaaS solutions

Good skills in:

• Written, presentation and verbal communication
• Using a varied set of internal applications needed to perform your role, e.g. JIRA, MS Office, Figma etc.
