Senior Product Manager (Beacon)

As the Senior Product Manager for Beacon you will ensure successful roadmap development and execution of our Beacon space traffic coordination application.  You will develop the Beacon roadmap through ongoing customer and stakeholder research and collaboration. You will manage the Agile development processes to ensure appropriate prioritization and timely delivery of roadmap items to meet business objectives. 

• Execute all position responsibilities in alignment with Slingshot’s core values, mission, and purpose
• Partner with key stakeholders across the company to understand business needs; craft product strategies based on needs 
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap by performing ongoing customer and market research 
• Manage the product backlog and the Agile development processes to ensure appropriate prioritization and timely delivery of roadmap items 
• Own and evangelize the strategic roadmap and product vision and ensure internal alignment across key stakeholders
• Own product launch and ramp up plans and ensure successful delivery in partnership with customers and key stakeholders
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in alignment with operational and budgetary plans and priorities
• Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, distilling complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans
• Perform other duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of the responsibilities listed above)

• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances

• 5+ years of product management experience in platform development and/or operations
• Demonstrated ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions to elevate the overall teams

• Experience developing SaaS products and/or analytics applications
• Degree in engineering, math, or physics 
• Experience in aerospace and/or federal government contracts
• Early-stage startup experience
