Job Description

Team: Product

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager - Energy Products & Quoting in United Kingdom.

In this high-impact product leadership role, you will shape how energy products are defined, priced, and delivered within a next-generation cloud-native energy platform. You will own the strategy and roadmap for product modelling and quoting capabilities that sit at the heart of the customer journey. Working in a rapidly evolving and highly regulated energy market, you will help enable new pricing models such as dynamic tariffs, time-of-use structures, and bundled offerings. You will also play a pivotal role in embedding AI-driven capabilities into product configuration and pricing workflows. Collaborating with engineering, commercial, and customer-facing teams, you will influence both product direction and go-to-market success. This is a fully remote UK-based role offering the opportunity to directly shape the future of energy retail at scale.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and drive the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for Energy Products & Quoting, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and international expansion goals.
  • Lead the evolution of product modelling and quoting capabilities to support modern energy offerings, including dynamic tariffs, multi-rate structures, export billing, and bundled propositions.
  • Champion the integration of AI across product workflows, enabling intelligent configuration, pricing optimisation, and enhanced catalogue management.
  • Drive international scalability by ensuring product structures can be localised and adapted to multiple regulatory and market environments without bespoke development.
  • Use data, customer insight, and market intelligence to validate strategy, challenge assumptions, and guide prioritisation decisions.
  • Contribute to commercial analysis and business cases, supporting make vs buy and investment decisions based on measurable value.
  • Mentor and coach product managers while contributing to broader product capability development across the organisation.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and customers to align on product direction and manage expectations across the lifecycle.
  • Requirements:

    • Extensive experience in product management, ideally within CPQ, product catalogue, pricing, or quoting platforms.
    • Strong background in complex, configurable product environments such as energy, telecoms, insurance, or financial services.
    • Proven experience defining product strategy across multiple markets or geographies, including localisation in regulated industries.
    • Deep understanding of CPQ principles including pricing rules, eligibility logic, bundling, product modelling, and quote lifecycle management.
    • Demonstrated ability to use data, experimentation, and AI-driven insights to inform product decisions.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership and engaging directly with customers.
    • Experience mentoring or coaching product teams and contributing to product practice maturity.
    • Comfortable working with technical concepts such as APIs, data models, and pricing engines.
    • Nice to have: experience in the energy or utilities sector.
    • Nice to have: exposure to external industry forums or customer advisory groups.
    • Benefits:

      • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
      • Option to buy or sell up to 5 additional holiday days per year.
      • Private healthcare via Vitality Health Insurance, including GP access, mental health support, and wellbeing perks.
      • Discounted gym memberships with major providers.
      • Pension scheme with 5% employer matched contribution.
      • Fully remote-first working model with optional access to offices in London and Nottingham.
      • 2 paid volunteering days per year.
      • Regular team and company-wide events fostering collaboration and culture.
