Senior Product Manager, Claims

About The Role

We're seeking a senior product manager to develop a world-class claims processing system.

Every persona in our ecosystem relies on Headway to accurately and efficiently file claims. Issues with filing can financially impact Providers, Patients, and Headway, while eroding trust with our Payers. As the Claims team's product manager, you'll spearhead the next phase of our internal claims filing system and tooling. You'll collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Operations, and Finance to shape a cohesive vision and strategy, unlocking new business opportunities.

What you’ll do at Headway:

• Evolve our claims processing system to meet business needs.
• Invest in internal tools and automation that streamline operational workflows.
• Define product strategy and vision for this critical area.
• Become intimately familiar with our infrastructure, processes and industry standards for medical claims filing.
• Work in lock-step with Engineering, Data Science, Operations and Finance.

You’ll be great for this role if you:

• 5+ years as a product manager, leading complex, strategic products.
• Enjoy being a Platform PM and jamming with technical teams.
• Background in medical billing, fintech, or payments.
• Experience leading products that require coordination of many stakeholders and cross functional teams.
• Experience developing a multi-year vision, strategy and roadmap for large products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary information is based on a single salary target per role:
• The starting salary for Senior Product Manager, Claims is $238,000.
