Position Summary
As a senior outbound product manager you will be the leader of the outbound efforts and responsibilities for a team of product managers charged with managing a broad portfolio of data-powered B2B and B2G software and services.
The Contribution: (Roles and Responsibilities)
- Be the market expert in your area by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Business Development teams, and by constantly researching and keeping a close eye on our customers and the ecosystem.
- Help internal and external stakeholders to understand product messaging, positioning, key benefits, and target personas.
- Drive the market position, go-to-market messaging and strategy, and competitors' analysis for a portfolio of products in the Traffic Management market.
- Go beyond standard market research to predict where the market is trending and where future opportunities lie.
- Represent Rekor at customer engagements and at conferences.
- Contribute to shaping the packaging and pricing of the products.
- Help your team develop a portfolio of programs and content to drive successful customer and user adoption.
As a senior outbound product manager the ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Work collaboratively with other PMs as well as our technical team to gather, define, and prioritize product requirements and to deliver industry-leading solutions.
- Work internally and externally with sales, customer success teams and the customers and partners themselves to understand market needs and use cases for our products
- Develop new product ideas based on brainstorming, market research, customer interviews, discovery processes, competitive analysis, and technological viability.
- Define product-market fit, help drive strategy and vision of the products, and oversee research, launch, and management of existing as well as new product initiatives.
- Own the external roadmap for the group's products
Success will evidence itself in the following ways:
- Publish and maintain external roadmaps
- Build efficient and robust work processes with Sales, marketing and CSM
- Create communication channels between the Product team and the customers
- Improve the Product team's understanding of our market, trends and strong competitors
- Formalize the go-to-market strategies of the groups' products
Ideal Profile:
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Minimum 5+ years as a Product Manager responsible for a B2B SaaS product; Traffic Management industry experience strongly preferred
- Expertise in all aspects of the product development lifecycle
- Experience leading conversations with customers as well as presenting products
- Experience working closely with sales, marketing, business development and customer success teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities using data as a driver of decisions
- Strong empathy for customers. You can deeply understand our customers and market, and can leverage this understanding as well as your strong product knowledge to deliver the most impactful products and solutions
