About the team & opportunity
Ontra is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Contract Automation reporting to our GM of Contract Automation.
The role is a great opportunity for someone who is excited about developing and executing an innovative product strategy that enables Ontra's Contract Automation product line to deliver the highest value to our customers. You'll become an expert in our product, market, and customers and partner with leaders across the organization to cultivate an ecosystem that creates products that are vital to our customers' needs.
Contract Automation is Ontra's flagship product, combining machine learning with a network of attorney partners to automate the processing, negotiation, and management of routine legal documents

What you'll do
  • Collaborate: Build strong partnerships with Engineering, UX, Sales, and Marketing to ensure all leaders are aligned on the needs of our customers, the business, and the priorities of each function
  • Strategize: Develop and own a product strategy for our Contract Automation product line that is in support of Ontra's vision and goals
  • Master: Become an expert on Contract Automation and be able to clearly articulate strategies and solutions across our organization and customer base
  • Execute: Lead our efforts to spec, scope, and ship scalable product

What you'll bring
  • Product Management Experience: 5+ years proven experience in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond in a high growth environment.
  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly
  • Cross Collaboration: Ability to build strong partnerships across the business and ensure that multiple functions are able to clearly understand and articulate product strategy and goals
  • Ownership: A background in owning a product in all facets of the business, with a strong sense of urgency and decisiveness to deliver value

Pay transparency
Ontra publishes salary ranges on our salary board here: https://bit.ly/3UjAOE3, which currently includes estimated annual cash salary ranges for candidates based in Colorado and New York City, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Ontra leverages current market data to determine compensation, so posted figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
Ontra factors in your location when benchmarking compensation for most roles. If you are not located in Colorado or New York City and have been selected to participate in our interview process, we encourage you to speak with your recruiter about compensation for the role during an initial conversation.
In addition to cash salary, the total compensation package Ontra offers includes unit-based compensation (if applicable). Certain roles in our sales and account management departments may also be eligible to receive variable compensation or commission.
