Senior Product Manager- Core Product

As a Sr Product Manager at Canopy, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business and customer impact. Your role involves deeply understanding customer needs within the fintech domain, and using this knowledge to drive impactful initiatives. You will not only own these initiatives but also contribute to the overall product strategy and execution. We expect PMs to understand the technology and be able to speak about it at multiple levels of complexity.

During any given work day, you might spend:

• 50% of your time working directly with your team on problem and solution discovery, framing, prioritization, and future planning
• 20% building context for stakeholders, communicating cross-functionally, and working with others on the product team
• 20% researching competitors, the lending domain, distilling customer feedback, and experimenting with our product
• 10% ad-hoc work, team and relationship building, process improvement, and personal development

Requirements

• Proven ability to make informed product decisions and design MVP solutions in ambiguous situations
• Strong technical competency, with an emphasis on SQL and analytical tools. Python and Node.js skills are highly advantageous.
• Background in lending or a strong capability to communicate about the lending domain
• Understanding of the entire lending lifecycle from origination to charge-off and key lending concepts such as credit lines, loan agreements, and interest calculations.
• Experience working remotely and a history of achievement and advancement.
• Comfortable discussing technical details with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A strong track record of curiosity and an ability to deliver outsized impact with limited resources
• Experience working in a remote environment with distributed teams
