Senior Product Manager, Custom Connectors

As a product manager for custom connectors, you will own the product strategy and roadmap for custom connectors. You will also have ownership of the events, files & functions connectors. Your vision, execution, and collaboration towards business-critical goals creates successful products that make data engineers and analysts more productive and look like superheroes to their teams.

As a Product Manager, Custom Connectors at Fivetran, you will: 

• Build and manage the custom connectors product strategy and roadmap; set quarterly goals and track deliverables and results
• Perform in-depth customer research and data analysis to identify opportunities for your product area
• Manage a portfolio of connectors and contribute to strategic decisions on growing and improving that portfolio, including optimizing revenue
• Learn what questions analysts are trying to answer, decide what data sources they need and prioritize the most important use cases to address
• Oversee quality assurance of the data and ensure we prioritize the fixes
• Collaborate with product analytics, product marketing, sales engineering, and solution architecture teams to ensure the success of your product portfolio
• Work directly with multiple engineering teams and a data analytics team to ensure Fivetran is delivering the highest quality data possible
• Your guiding metric will be the volume of data flowing through Fivetran

What you bring to the table: 

• Experience managing products that are geared toward technical users such as developer tools, SDKs, IDEs, CLI, etc. 
• Familiarity with leading user research discussions
• Prior experience as a software engineer or data engineer
• Proven track record of shipping products that deliver measurable results.
• Proven ability to develop deep customer empathy and articulate customer problems.
• Demonstrated experience using data and analytical abilities to help solve problems and make decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with a talented team of engineers and designers.
• Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with a confirmed ability to influence partners.
• High technical and analytical acumen.

Nice-to-haves (optional):

• Hands-on experience working with cloud functions (AWS Lambda/Azure Functions/GCP Cloud Functions)
• History of working in a high-growth company
• Prior experience with data integration tools
• Experience taking a new product from 0 to 1
