We are looking for a curious strategic storyteller to join Autodesk data platform team. Autodesk design and make platform offerings are APIs, services, and an ecosystem marketplace that accelerates digital transformation and guides better results. This platform lets our customers and partners automate, connect, and support complete industry workflows with tools that can be customized and implemented fast. Our mission is to "Accelerate data granularity and interoperability so that customer can do more, better, with less."
This is a visible role working directly with some of our largest fortune 500 customers and engaging with C-staff.
As a Senior Product Manager for the platform, you will at the forefront of driving adoption across our customers and building next gen data capabilities. You will develop relationships and work with our customers and development teams across design and make products. You will be the important connection between customer needs and business strategy, software development, and go-to-market execution. On a given day you may present to a senior executive, deliver a on main stage, extract new meaning from analytics data, address a customer issue, or work through a important design question with a development team.
You will report to a Director of Product Management Product Data Platform.
Responsibilities
- Drive the vision and roadmap for foundational data capabilities such as Autodesk data model and Autodesk data exchanges
- Manage relationships with architecture, engineering, and product teams to deliver defined customer outcomes
- Identify market opportunities and guide platform data strategy (build vs. buy)
- Manage the product lifecycle, including product roadmap, release planning, and positioning
- Work directly with Autodesk product teams to define development of new features and capabilities
- Articulate platform value to customers while differentiating platform from competitive offerings - Leading GTM plans and beta programs
- Represent the platform at customer sites, conferences, and other external venues
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience in a SaaS/Technology company
- Experience with data and finding ways for it to be standardized to address customer workflows
- Ability to easily explain complex technical and business concepts in simply understood terms
- Leading cross-functional teams
- Experience managing stakeholders, risk, and uncertainty
- Exceptional storyteller
- Ability to collaborate with a global team and travel for work on occasion.
- BS Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience applying industry standards (e.g., IFC, UK BIM standards) etc. to data
- Knowledge and familiarity with parametric BIM tools like Revit and managing large amounts of AEC and Manufacturing data.
- Experience launching platform capabilities and driving platform adoption.
- Familiarity with scrum/agile methodologies

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $130,800 and $211,640. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
