About our Team

Join the Research Leader and Funder Product team. This is one of Elsevier's fastest growing departments focused on providing insights to enable research leaders and funders to compete more effectively. You are responsible for the success of Expert Lookup, a funder focused solution, part of the Research Analytics team, closely working with a cross functional team of Funder focused professionals.

About the Role

As Senior Product Manager you are responsible for defining and executing on a product strategy that optimizes growth by delighting customers and delivering excellent value.

Expert Lookup is in its scale-up phase of development and represents an exciting opportunity to take complete end-to-end product ownership and grow its footprint further. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Technology and other stakeholders, as part of the virtual Funder team.

Remote position available - East Coast Preference

Responsibilities
  • Working together in close collaboration with the tech team and other stakeholders. Will create and communicate our product vision and roadmap to build growth opportunities
  • Developing clear go-to -market launch plans through coordinated business strategic planning with external cross-functional customer facing teams
  • Driving solutions for complicated design challenges by managing key end-to-end life-cycle components from planning to release
  • Collaborating with customers to gather requirements for processes and use-cases and to gain a solid understanding of future needs
  • Utilizing Data-Driven Decision-Making and Analysis to set KPIs, priorities and dashboards to track progress on customer needs
  • Following market and policy developments that impact customers needs and assess impact on our portfolio


Requirements
  • Have a positive mental attitude, strategic thinking AND "getting stuff done"
  • Have an MSC. degree, with a preference in a technical field or area
  • Have familiarity with research funding and, or the review process are a plus
  • Have long-term ownership and success in leading product lifecycle strategy and planning, including the release of multiple products and features.
  • Have experience developing deep customer relationships that drive meaningful dialogue about the future direction of a product.
