Senior Product Manager, Finance

About Your Role:
Dotdash Meredith seeks a Senior Product Manager for its Finance brands. You'll be working with a cross-disciplinary scrum team to launch innovative content products, tools and applications that will help millions of people make informed choices to improve their everyday lives. You'll partner with GMs, design, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to develop and execute a robust product strategy that leverages our unique capabilities: evergreen content, SEO optimization, user engagement, beautiful design, and respectful monetization.
In a Typical Day, You'll:

• Drive daily check-ins with your scrum team, providing context and keeping projects flowing.
• Review your product roadmap and strategy with GMs and senior management.
• Walk an engineer and a designer through some product requirements.
• Coordinate with fellow product managers on the sequence of a cross-team project.
• Conduct user testing studies and observe what's working and what's not.
• Teach the content team how to use a new feature.
• Check the previous days' metrics and understand how your changes impacted them.
• Congratulate the scrum team on the release of an awesome new feature.

About You:

• At least 3-5 years of hands-on product management-day-to-day product ownership and ideation
• You have deep knowledge of what makes a great publishing brand because you've done this before, e.g. experience at a premium digital publisher.
• You're capable of developing a big-picture product strategy for meeting user needs, selling it, and then working out the details to get the plan over the finish line.
• You have a passion for figuring out user problems and pain points.
• You're excellent at communicating and collaborating with a wide range of teams and stakeholders to build great products.
• You possess an innate desire to collect, synthesize, and analyze data to inform your strategy.
• You're fluent in Agile principles and methodology.
