Senior Product Manager - GHG Trading

What You Will Be Doing

Our Partners range from retail chains, fueling, automotive, and heavy-duty companies to energy utilities, real estate and electrical wholesalers. With our enabled products and services, we allow our customers to build their charging business.

As part of the Product Management team and in close cooperation with the finance team, you will take over holistic responsibility for parts of our product portfolio. Your key question will be: How do I design my products to make our partners successful?

You will ensure that your products always fulfill the requirements of the maturing EV charging market and drive processual, technical as well as commercial optimization. Furthermore, you will have the chance to develop new products from scratch, giving them your personal touch.

With our Greenhouse Gas Emission Trading (GHG) Product, we give our clients operating public charging stations easy & convenient access to an additional revenue source. Currently being active with our GHG product in Germany and Austria, we aim to extend our market footprint of this product to France and Benelux. Therefore we seek a skilled individual with commodity trading & risk management experience who drives the market extension and manages associated benefits and risks thoroughly.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Take strategic and commercial responsibility for our GHG product across markets
  • Ownership of the business case commercial offering
  • Management & extensions of trading partnerships
  • Risk management in close corporation with our finance department
  • Introduce the GHG product in other European markets
  • Drive product & process improvement
• Extend your responsibility to further EV charging products of the be.ENERGISED platform ranging from software to support services
• Understand our customers and their business needs
• Work cross-functionally with our finance, sales team, development, legal, support and marketing departments as well as external partners
• Define necessary improvements for your products and manage the technical implementation
• Screen market & legislation developments

Requirements

• Enjoy working in an ever-changing environment and at the interface of technology and business
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or similar
• Experience in commodity trading & risk management
• Existing network to obligated parties (fueling companies) is beneficial
• Internal drive towards optimisation and more sustainability in the mobility sector
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Result-driven and analytical working method
• Creativity in finding the best solutions
• Language: English and German; French or Dutch is a plus

Preferably within commuting distance to our office in Munch or Radstadt.
