Senior Product Manager - Global Sensor Network Software

The Slingshot Global Sensor Network (GSN) is core to the company’s vision of accelerating the security, safety, and sustainability of space. Currently spanning 20 sites worldwide, the GSN offers the world’s only day/night optical satellite tracking service, serves both internal and external customers, and provides data products/analytics that inform operator action to help protect satellites from on-orbit hazards and threats. 

• Execute all position responsibilities in alignment with Slingshot’s core values, mission, and purpose

• Ensure successful GSN software roadmap development and execution through customer and stakeholder research and collaboration 
• Partner with key stakeholders across the company to understand the business dynamics and inform, deliver, and execute on the roadmap that will allow them to meet their business objectives related to GSN data provision and exploitation 
• Manage the Agile development processes to ensure appropriate prioritization and timely delivery of roadmap items and day to day requirements from stakeholders

• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Astronomy, or Business Administration
• 5+ years of product management experience in a related industry
• Experience crafting product strategies based on customer, business, and internal stakeholder needs and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle
• Experience managing multiple projects at once in accordance with operational and budgetary plans and priorities
• Experience building user-friendly interfaces to comprehend and derive insights from complex data
• Ability to inspire team members, communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, and distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans
• Demonstrated ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions to elevate the overall teams
• 10% travel within the United States required

• Early-stage startup experience in the aerospace industry
• Experience or a keen interest in learning about space surveillance
