Senior Product Manager, HA Emerging

We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as a Senior Product Manager (Emerging) on the Home Appliance Team!

Position Summary:

Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. Develops business plans and product positioning in the marketplace. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies. Works with engineering, manufacturing and sales to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).

Key Responsibilities:

• Summarize reports and analyze to identify relative strengths and weaknesses and report to NJ management as well as HQ.
• Participate in consumer research projects related to product usage and comparative performance.
• Lead planning and execution of product exhibits and demos for launch and press events.
• Duties also include management of an image quality test lab which includes ordering, tracking, and setting up evaluation samples.
• Define methods for review and evaluation of products by popular review sites and publications, and use the latest tools for setup and calibration of products ISF Certification is preferred.
• The individual will write test documents, technical reports, and presentations for a wide audience that includes management in the US and Korea, technicians, engineers, and managers.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is required
• 10 years experience in high-tech, competitive intelligence, product management, strategic marketing, or strategy/management consulting required
• Experience in analytical positions of product management, product marketing, and/or sales; forecasting experience and P&L ownership a plus
• Mobile Application and/or start-up experience a plus
