Hulu is the leading premium streaming service in the U.S. offering live and on-demand TV, sports, news, and movies, with and without commercials, in and out of the home. We provide choice and captivate viewers with stories of all flavors, and we're looking for a seasoned product manager ready to redefine TV through creative yet strategic thinking and consistent execution while embracing fun.
Job Summary
Want to join a fast-paced, exciting team serving millions of users daily across 20+ device families? We seek an enthusiastic and experienced senior product manager to lead our efforts in evolving the Hulu product experience.
Hulu is the home of a beloved general entertainment streaming experience for over 15 years, and the Hulu product team is responsible for a reliable and engaging experience across dozens of device form factors, in and out of playback. Keeping the experience compelling, satisfying, and familiar, regardless of what device is in use, is the highest priority. You will work closely with counterparts in engineering, product management, design, and executive teams, to ensure the product roadmap fulfills business, technical, legal, and consumer priorities for target platforms. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, team-oriented, nimble, displays strong product sense, and doesn't wait to be told what to do.
Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to define scope, create a vision and strategy, determine trade-offs, and build consensus to deliver engaging product features.
  • Drive end-to-end responsibility and ownership for your product feature/capability from concept to the finish line and in its daily usage.
  • Conduct industry research, consult with finance, and analyze data to ensure the viability of new features and product changes.
  • Lead a scrum team, champion their needs, and prioritize incoming requests for resourcing.
  • Contribute to prioritizing and driving alignment for a varied product roadmap across a diverse set of stakeholders including product partners, ads, engineering, design, commerce, legal, finance, and operations.
  • Work with device, platform, and distribution partners to ensure quality, compliance, and maintenance of your product domains.
  • Define OKRs and KPIs, track the health of your product domains, and understand changes in behavior/data.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
  • 7+ years of product management or other relevant work experience required.
  • Proven track record of launching successful, engaging, user-centric features on Android and iOS mobile devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to define technical acceptance criteria, discuss technical concepts with engineering teams, and understand architectural and technical implications.
  • Experience leading a dedicated scrum/dev team as a solo Product Owner.
  • Ability to shift, adapt, and remain flexible with changing priorities and external factors while continuing to move projects forward.
  • Obsessed with making data-oriented, analytical decisions to keep customers happy.
  • A strong attention to detail, and the ability to take a step back and understand the bigger picture.
  • Ability to be scrappy and resourceful, with no fear of getting your hands dirty and an impulse to always find a solution.
  • Systems thinker - proactive, structured, long-term thinker rather than reactive.
  • A love for TV!

Preferred Qualifications

  • Product management experience / high-level technical understanding of the streaming video devices landscape, specifically tvOS, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Experience in A/B experimentation, testing tools, and analytics.
  • Worked in organizations with agile software development practices and latest industry methodologies.
  • Focus on impact with a proclivity to frame work in terms of impact, effort, and cost.
