Senior Product Manager (Investments)

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced, talented Senior Investments orientated Product Manager to join the newly created Product Governance and Strategy team. This is an exciting time to be joining Morningstar Wealth Platform, following the acquisition, significant investment is being made to support us leveraging proprietary technology to disturb the platform market.
Requirements
You will have:

• Proven strong experience of having managed Investment products and services over the entire lifecycle.

• Strong technical understanding gained by working in the Wealth Management market, including a deep understanding of relevant regulatory and legislative requirements.

• Proven experience of understanding customer financial planning needs, and the Financial Planning processes and business needs that support customers in achieving their objectives.

• Experience of working collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders to agree required outcomes and drive required delivery.

• Experience of working with and evolving Product Governance frameworks to ensure focus remains on ensuring excellent investor outcomes.

• Experience of working with Data and defining requirements to inform decision making and spot trends.

• Excellent understanding of competitor offerings and key industry trends.

• Ability to articulate ideas clearly to range of stakeholders verbally and through a variety of presentation styles and production of written narratives.

• A willingness to work at varying levels within the business, being as comfortable reviewing detailed process flows as presenting ideas to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Product Management including the proposing, maintaining and enhancement of financial products.

• Regulatory Reviews and maintenance ensuring all features and documentation are maintained and remain suitable inline with product developments and regulatory thinking.

• Complete market research and product fit analysis, including target market and competitor analysis.

• Proposition Strategy and management completing regular reviews of existing offerings and operating model, to identify opportunities for improvements.

• Provide technical expertise and support for client services and Sales functions including providing expert advice and RFI assistance.

• 3rd Party and supplier relationship management. Work with 3rd party suppliers involved in the delivery of Morningstar Wealth's Investment capabilities across Investment Management and Platform Business.

• Provide technical product, legislative and regulatory support to Development squads.

• Optimize the positioning of Investment Products and Services externally, supporting sales and marketing teams with understanding of products and how they meet client and customer needs.
