Your Mission

As a Senior Product Manager on the KYC Controls team at Wise, your mission is to set new standards for our global Know Your Customer (KYC) controls, ensuring they are both compliant, effective and customer-friendly. 

You will be curious about the status quo, drive strategy, accelerate and unblock execution while fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. 

By safeguarding our customers' identities while maintaining compliance and rigorously improving control effectiveness, you will have a significant impact on key areas at Wise.

This role will give you the opportunity to

• Lead an Inclusive Team: Work with a diverse group of Product Engineers, Operations, and Product Compliance Managers to build a top-tier product.

• Make a Difference: Influence how millions of customers send, spend, and receive money across borders. Shape opportunities based on a deep understanding of customer needs, industry dynamics, and regulatory requirements.

• Exercise Autonomy: Collaboratively create your own vision and strategy with your team. Use data to drive product strategy, establish performance metrics, and enhance customer onboarding processes.

• Stakeholder Management: You excel at fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders worldwide. You have facilitated alignment and collaboration across globally distributed teams.

• Execution: You get things done. You are partnering directly with product engineers, compliance, and operations peers to make a substantial impact.

• Data Savvy: You know your numbers. You are comfortable pulling your own data, synthesising and leveraging it for quantitative research and decision-making.

• Customer-Centric: You regularly talk to customers. You are passionate about understanding and translating customer needs and feedback into product solutions.

• Effective Communicator: You can clearly convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.

• Product Ownership: You have comprehensive experience owning customer journeys from start to finish.

Nice to have

• Domain expertise: You have experience owning a wider range of KYC controls, ideally across multiple jurisdictions.
