Senior Product Manager, Mapping

Our Product Managers work closely with cross-functional colleagues across business intelligence, marketing, design, and engineering to drive measurable outcomes for our customers and business, as we continue to define the future of aviation technology.
Job Duties:

• Lead the development and execution of product strategy for the mapping team in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Develop and drive evidence-based roadmaps and plans to grow our market share and offerings that are in line with overall company strategy
• Write product definitions that communicate the vision, goals, and objectives of an offering to our engineering teams and relevant stakeholders
• Analyze customer usage trends and market research to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Produce competitive analysis materials comparing a product with its key competitors
• Evangelize the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and customers
• Work independently on complex technical and business matters
• Develop solutions to problems by collaborating across regions, product areas, and functions
• Serve as a strategic partner to the functional teams to ensure an overall vision
• Set standards for the highest quality development and launch
• Be able to take the high strategic view as well as dive deep on issues
• Work with marketing to drive awareness and create demand for our services
• Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Aviation experience or enthusiasm preferred
• Previous experience in the mapping, and related industries is a big plus
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Analytical problem solving and strategic thinking skills; quantitative analysis skills to guide data-driven decision making
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prepare written plans, identify objectives and schedules, and coordinate and direct project teams
• Ability to develop strong value proposition messaging to present and have challenging conversations at executive levels, both internally and externally, to drive alignment
• Strong interpersonal and partner relationship skills
• At least 3 years of software-based product management experience, with demonstrated success in delivering products and driving business results
• Strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis, experimentation, and market research
• Excellent listening skills, including the ability to identify and isolate customers' concerns or objections, in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills
• Highly independent with the ability to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple projects simultaneously
• Specialist in complex technical and business matters
